PER.C6® is the most extensively characterized human cell line tested in over 5,500 patients across 40 clinical studies worldwide with an outstanding safety record dating back to its development in 1995. The human origin of PER.C6 ensures that the protein produced is well tolerated in human patients and reduces the risk of immunogenic response. Its consistently high yields make this cell line ideally suited to the manufacture of biosimilar molecules, such as monoclonal antibodies.

SCALE™ is a modularized state of the art manufacturing process utilizing the latest disposable technologies adapted for use as an “In Market, For Market”™ low cost manufacturing model, ideally suited to emerging markets. It provides speed to market, production scale, campaign flexibility and utilization rates which can be tailored to the market’s needs for the portfolio of approved biologics.
